Project Overview

Villa Seraphiére is a 9,000 sq ft end-user residence in Palm Jumeirah, developed through an integrated design-and-build approach. Conceived as a highly refined private home, the project combines architectural monumentality with a layered interior concept shaped by natural stone, tactile finishes, filtered light, and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape. A residence where contemporary sophistication is softened by calm, nature-led design gestures.

Across architecture, interiors, and landscape, the villa is envisioned as a cohesive living environment in which arrival, social spaces, wellness areas, private suites, and outdoor living all contribute to one immersive residential experience. The project includes formal and family living areas, show kitchen and winery, office, cinema, wellness zone, multiple bedroom suites, roof lounge, and a generous beachfront landscape with pool, spa, lounge decks, and outdoor dining.

The Challenge

The brief called for a residence that would feel architecturally striking yet deeply livable — a home that offered visual distinction without losing warmth, privacy, or a sense of retreat. As an end-user residence in Palm Jumeirah, the project needed to support both elegant entertaining and everyday family life, while maintaining a strong relationship between architecture, interiors, and the beach-facing outdoor environment.

A key challenge was coordinating a complex multi-level program into one coherent narrative. The plans include entrance and lift lobby, formal living and dining, family living and dining, show kitchen, winery, office, cinema, gym, sauna and steam, master suite, three additional bedrooms, guest suite, roof lounge, DJ/bar zone, and multiple terraces. This required a design language that could shift in mood across formal, private, wellness, and leisure spaces while still feeling unified throughout.

Our Approach

Our approach was to build the villa around a clear interplay of sculptural form, natural materiality, and filtered light. Architecturally, the façade introduces travertine-like masses, vertical louvers, and a glazed stair volume that establishes a calm but commanding identity from the street. The concept’s spiral stair becomes both a circulation feature and a symbolic centrepiece, creating a strong arrival sequence through the entrance courtyard.

The landscape was treated as an essential extension of the architecture. The rear composition includes a large beach-facing pool, integrated sun loungers, curved seating forms, circular spa element, shallow lounge edge, outdoor dining pavilion, and sculptural islands that soften the geometry of the villa and create a more resort-like atmosphere. The rendered views make clear that the outdoor experience is not secondary but central to the way the project is meant to be lived.

Inside, we developed a richly layered interior language built on travertine, onyx, marble, veneer, polished metal, glass, and muted neutral tones, with moments of contrast introduced through burgundy, sea-foam jade, darker stones, and bronze-toned accents. The entrance uses travertine, onyx, metal, and sculptural objects to set the tone; the formal living room combines pale stone with Rosso Levanto and Onyx; and the family living area introduces dramatic stone surfaces, integrated shelving, and softer lounge compositions.

This approach continues throughout the home. The show kitchen and winery are treated as statement features, combining sculptural stone islands, and a dramatic glass wine display. The office is conceived as a compact but highly tailored workspace, while the cinema and wellness zone bring darker, moodier atmospheres suited to entertainment and recovery. Upstairs, the master suite introduces a more intimate language of herringbone timber flooring, layered marble, custom joinery, and a spa-like ensuite, while the additional bedrooms and roof lounge maintain continuity through calm palettes, tactile materials, and carefully curated furniture and lighting selections.

The Outcome

The result is a contemporary Palm Jumeirah villa envisioned as a private sanctuary — one where architecture, interiors, and landscape are brought together through a shared language of sculptural elegance, natural materiality, and quiet luxury. Every layer of the concept supports a home that feels visually memorable, highly resolved, and deeply connected to its setting.

As an end-user residence, Villa Seraphiére is positioned not simply as a statement home, but as a complete lifestyle environment. Its iconic arrival sequence, beach-facing outdoor living, wellness and entertainment spaces, and refined private suites come together to create a residence that feels immersive, timeless, and fully aligned with CK’s design sensibility.
