Casa Onda is a 5,000 sq ft investor-led residence in Palm Jumeirah, developed through an integrated design-and-build approach. Conceived as a modern waterfront villa, the project is shaped around the movement, softness, and atmosphere of the ocean, translating these qualities into a home that feels sculptural, open, and quietly luxurious. “A Symphony of Oceanic Elegance,” combining fluid forms, natural materials, and a strong biophilic connection to its setting.
Across architecture, interiors, and landscape, the villa has been envisioned as a cohesive living environment where spatial openness and material refinement work together to create a calm residential retreat. The concept includes formal and informal living spaces, a show kitchen and dining area, office or guest suite, multiple ensuite bedrooms, landscaped outdoor zones, and a beachfront leisure setting designed to extend the home into the surrounding environment.
The brief called for a residence that would stand out within the Palm Jumeirah market while remaining highly livable, elegant, and broadly appealing for an investor-led development. The project needed to establish a strong architectural identity while also delivering a sense of softness and ease more commonly associated with resort living.
A further challenge was the transformation of an existing Garden Home / Atrium Entry - Mediterranean structure into a contemporary villa with a distinct new character. The existing site condition, the portions of the original building to be removed, and the proposed reconfiguration of the plot into a more open, fluid, and experience-led residence. The design also had to balance privacy and generosity on a narrow beachfront plot, while accommodating a detailed program that includes entrance hall and staircase, living area, show kitchen and dining, office or guest bedroom, primary suite, secondary bedrooms, terraces, landscaped arrival, pool, zen garden, sunken seating, and beach connection.
Our approach was to build the entire project around the idea of movement and fluidity. Architecturally, this meant using softened contemporary forms, curved landscape gestures, vertical volumes, and a palette of timeless materials including travertine, textured paint, stone, aluminium, and pale pool finishes. The front elevation and renderings show a villa defined by calm monumentality, sculpted entry moments, and a composition that feels both modern and welcoming.
The landscape was treated as an essential extension of the architecture. At the front, the arrival sequence combines soft paving lines, planting, and water-inspired geometry to establish the project’s identity from the street. At the rear, the pool, infinity channel, sunken seating area, outdoor shower, zen garden, and stair to beach create a layered outdoor experience that strengthens the villa’s relationship with the waterfront.
Internally, the concept translates the language of the ocean into a more atmospheric and tactile residential experience. The presentation describes an interior palette of deep sea blues, ocean greens, soft moss, moonlight silvers, tide mist whites, and oceanic greys, creating spaces that feel calm, luminous, and connected to the surrounding setting. This is reinforced through sculptural chandeliers, veined stone surfaces, soft neutral upholstery, blue-accented rugs, fluid detailing, and curated artistic pieces that appear throughout the entrance, living and dining areas, show kitchen, powder room, office or guest suite, primary bedroom, secondary bedrooms, and ensuites.
The result is a contemporary Palm Jumeirah villa envisioned as a refined beachside retreat — one where architecture, interiors, and landscape are united by a single, fluid design language. Every element of the concept supports a home that feels calm yet distinctive, luxurious yet relaxed, and expressive without excess.
For an investor-led project, Casa Onda is positioned to deliver both strong visual identity and broad lifestyle appeal. Its ocean-inspired architecture, carefully layered material palette, sculptural interiors, and immersive indoor-outdoor spaces come together to create a residence that feels memorable, market-ready, and fully aligned with CK’s contemporary design language.
