Project Overview
Bluewaters Penthouse 1 is a refined Design & Build residential project located in one of Dubai’s most exclusive waterfront destinations. Conceived for an end-user, the penthouse was designed to balance contemporary luxury with intimacy, creating a home that feels both visually striking and deeply personal. Completed in December 2023 over an 8-month timeline, the project brings together rich materiality, panoramic views, and tailored spatial planning to deliver an elevated urban living experience.
The Challenge
Designing a penthouse of this caliber required more than simply creating a beautiful interior. The challenge was to shape a home that responded to its exceptional location while maintaining warmth, privacy, and livability. With expansive glazing, open-plan volumes, and highly visible architectural features, every surface, transition, and detail had to feel intentional. The brief demanded a seamless fusion of sophistication and comfort, while ensuring that each zone — from the social living areas to the more private retreats — carried its own character within a cohesive design language.
Our Approach
Our approach focused on crafting a calm yet expressive interior identity rooted in contrast, balance, and detail. We paired bold natural stone with rich timber finishes, soft furnishings, and sculptural lighting to create layers of visual depth throughout the penthouse. Spatially, we emphasized openness and flow, allowing the views to become part of the experience while carefully zoning the home for both entertaining and daily living.
Custom joinery, statement doors, feature walls, and curated material compositions were used to give each space a distinct presence without disrupting the overall harmony of the project. From the dramatic entry moments to the intimate lounge corners and luxurious bedroom suites, the design was developed to feel immersive, elegant, and highly resolved.
The Outcome
The result is a penthouse that feels polished, contemporary, and unmistakably bespoke. Bluewaters Penthouse 1 reflects a lifestyle of understated luxury — where strong architectural gestures meet fine detailing and residential comfort. The completed home offers a seamless living experience, combining functionality with a rich visual atmosphere that is both modern and timeless. It stands as a project that captures the essence of elevated waterfront living in Dubai.
